The Newest Butler
Story
This year I'll be participating for the first time as Mrs Butler in the Balmoral Swim for Cancer.
Most of you know by now that this is a bit of an institution that my family and I, 'The ACES;, have participated in since 2006. This was the year after my Aunty Anita passed away form cancer. She participated in the swim herself and taugh me, my sisters and my coisins all how to swim so we decided it was our turn to make her proud.
Together The ACES have raised over $260,000!!!
This sounds like a lot of money and it gives me goosebumps writing it, but the CCIA need constant funding which is why we continue to swim each year and continue to ask for your donations and continue to make a difference.
Most of you reading this have donated to me or someone in the family before, most of you multiple times. You're continued support helps me get in the water and swim to make a difference.
Some of you haven't donated before and to you say: Welcome to the best feeling on earth.
Anything you can manage is so incredibly appreciated and we of course welcome you all to join us on the day. Swimming or not it's always such an inspiring event.
Signing off,
Mrs Angelica Butler!
This event holds special importance for our family and each year we fundraise in my Aunty Anita's name, who we lost to cancer in 2005. She taught many children to swim, and was a brave, loving and graceful woman.

Activity
Children's Cancer Institute
Every year more than 950 children and adolescents will be diagnosed with cancer in Australia.
Every week nearly three Australian children will die of cancer.
Children’s Cancer Institute exists solely to put an end to childhood cancer through medical research. We don’t just hope to do it. We will do it.
It’s not if. It’s when.
